A beautiful diva, Lorraine Sedgwick, is murdered by her famous lover, tenor Lorenzo Orsini. Fifteen years later Lorraine's teenage daughter Kate is experiencing terrible nightmares. At the urging of her best friend Monica, Kate enrolls at the high school drama class held at the old theatre - now being renovated - where her mother was killed. Kate's nightmares become worse, especially after she meets the theatre's owner, Mr Caruthers. Caruthers tells Kate he believes the theatre to be haunted by the ghost of Orsini, her mother's murderer...
