Synopsis
Comedy drama. Three couples hit the road with the intention of entering a grand karaoke competition. Ricky is a professional musician who pretends to be an amateur, winning contests easily. When he meets the daughter he had by a long-lost girlfriend, he does not find it so easy to shake her off. Todd is a salesman whose family have tired of him; on a whim he teams up with an African-American, Reggie, an escaped convict, and they decide to enter the competition too. Lastly Suzi, an aspiring singer desperate to hit the big-time, is travelling with Billy, a taxi driver, who doesn't realise quite how manipulative she is.
