Spring Forward (1999)

Film details

Drama. In a story divided into seven sections, the story unfolds of a friendship which burgeons between an ex-convict and an older man, with whom he is partnered on his first day at a new job with the parks and recreations department of a small town. Paul, the younger man, has recently left prison, having served a sentence for armed robbery. The two men have little in common at first, apart from their mutual contempt for the wealthy Fredrickson, who has contributed to the parks programme, and is contemptuous of the department's workers.
