American History X (1998)

Film details


Drama. Danny, a fledgling neo-Nazi, having written a favourable report on Hitler's Mein Kampf as a work assignment, is made to write an essay about his older brother as part of a course known as American History X. In this way the story unfolds, telling how Danny's adored brother, Derek, became a kind of Nazi "leader" in his "territory" of Venice in Southern California, embroiling himself in violence, which in turn led to one particular incident resulting in a prison sentence.
