The Last Stand of the Old Farts (1996)

Film details

Synopsis

The series returns to the world of rugby union to see how conflicts over money and professionalism, immortalised by Will Carling's quote about the RFU committee in 1995, are progressing. In theory, the embracement of pay for play should be leading to a golden age. Instead, there are divisions that leave the game in tatters. Contributors include players Rob Andrew and Phil de Glanville; supporter Harry Barstow; EPRUC chairman Donald Kerr; RFU chairman Cliff Brittle.
