Synopsis

Follows the American photographer Eve Arnold as she prepared a major retrospective of her work at the Barbican Gallery in London. She talks about some of her most famous subjects, including Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Malcolm X, Margaret Thatcher and Joan Crawford, and some of the places she has visited in the course of her photojournalistic work, including South Africa and China.
