Film details


Film version of the Arthur Miller play. Set in Brooklyn in 1938, a few days after the Kristallnacht Nazi attack on Germany's Jewish community, a woman, Sylvia Gellburg, suddenly and mysteriously loses the use of her legs. Dr Harry Hyman is called in to treat her and over time she reveals anxiety about her marriage and the situation in Berlin.
