Synopsis
Thriller. When Catherine, a young Frenchwoman living in North America, tells police she has just murdered Stella, her husband's previous wife, they are unconvinced, since police records show she was shot two years previously by persons unknown. The story then flashes back to Catherine's arrival from Europe, her whirlwind marriage to Nick, a composer, and her new life spent living in Nick's apartment, where she meets the other occupants - who may or may not have had something to do with Stella's death.
