Film details


Story of a redneck, Arkansas Southerner in his sixties who is shocked to discover that his mother was the family's black servant, who died giving birth to him. He is urged, in the letter left to him on her death by the woman he believed to have been his mother, to seek out his elder African- American half-brother - a cop in Chicago.
