Cry, The Beloved Country (1995)

Film details


Set in apartheid South Africa. After the murder of a white man a kinship develops between the man's father, James Jarvis and Father Stephen Kumalo. Both are estranged from their sons. When they track them down Kumalo finds his son has fallen into petty thievery, Jarvis finds that his worked hard for black rights and pitied his father for his lack of concern over the injustice in apartheid South Africa.
