Film details

Partly animated, partly live-action adaptation of the story by Roald Dahl. Living a carefree life with his parents by the British seashore, young James is suddenly orphaned and sent to live with his two cruel aunts. After meeting a mysterious old man, James discovers a long-dead peach tree has burst into life and produced an enormous peach...which keeps growing. One night James crawls inside the peach and makes friends with the insects living there. Gradually the peach rolls down to the sea and sails to Gotham.
