The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but Came down a Mountain (1995)

Film details

A cartographer is sent to a small village in Wales in 1917 to map out the terrain. The villagers are shocked to discover that their local mountain, according to standard government measurements, is only a hill. Attempts to persuade the English official to reinterpret his measurements fail, so the villagers decide to add the necessary extra few feet.
