Film details


Comedy. Twenty three-year-old Mary sells alcohol at her Chinatown loft and throws an illegal rent party. When she is arrested she has to turn to her godmother Judy, a no-nonsense type who runs a library and gets her a job there. However, Mary still hangs around with her loose coterie of friends and takes a fancy to Mustafa, a young Lebanese fellow who runs a falafel stand.
