Synopsis
Black comedy. At St. Caninus Hospital, head of research Dr John Lord is killed after making love to Dr Penelope (Penny) Second. Her father then dies at a staff function. Sgt. Stiltskin, internal security, investigates, guided through an ear piece by a controller. When Dr Melplash is killed the controller tells Stiltskin that Penny is the killer. She seems to intend to kill her new lover, Dr Rogers, before Stiltskin confronts her, professes his love and dies. Penny is finally seen standing in bright sunshine with, it would seem, herself as a child beside her.
