Synopsis

Two session musicians working together in New York have been friends for years. Both have their problems. Al's marriage is in trouble because he has been having affairs, and Buddy has been diagnosed as having an inoperable brain tumour. Buddy asks his best friend for a favour: to organise a big party for all of their friends to help him go out with a bang.
