Synopsis

A romantic comedy about Washington senator's aide John Hartman (John RITTER), divorced with two young sons, and the senator's new press secretary Georgia Ann Lahti (Markie POST), a confirmed eccentric. Lahti, a writing celebrity, fallen on hard times, insinuates herself on Hartman and the office force. She is homeless, lost her clothes in a dry-cleaner fire and travels with a companion Miss Lulu (Beah RICHARDS) and hopes Hartman will give her shelter.
