Synopsis

TV film based on the novel by Stefan Zweig. Set in Vienna in 1933 it concerns Irene, who is married to a lawyer and has two children and who falls in love with a young piano player Maurizio. The two begin an affair against the backdrop of a society moving towards Nazism.
