Synopsis

Political thriller. A Sicilian landowner stumbles across a piece of suspicious information, but his report to the local police goes unanswered until the following day, by which time the landowner has "committed suicide". In the ensuing investigation, a young policeman uncovers information which implicates his corrupt boss. Based on novel by Leonardo Sciascia.
