Synopsis

Jake Bozman runs a night club, whose clientele is mainly Hispanic, in Eastern Los Angeles. His wife Teresa, who he often pushes around, also works for him, and when ex-con Tony comes to the club as a singer the two become involved in a love affair and plan to murder Jake and live together, continuing to run the club.
