Synopsis

Feature-length opening episode of a new series. Set in the 24th Century the series follows the voyages of the new USS Enterprise and its new crew. In this episode they head for Deneb IV to examine Farpoint, a highly-advanced starbase mysteriously built by a primitive society, the mission taking on a dnagerous note when an alien people called the Q intercept the ship and thereaten to destroy it because of the wrongs of mankind.
