Made for TV movie based on the works by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan's carefree existence is shattered when hunters invade his African home, killing his ape-mother and capturing his chimp companion Cheetah, taking him to America. Determined to avenge himself on those responsible, Tarzan sets out for New York, aided by his friend and mentor Joseph. Arriving in Manhattan he meets Jane Porter, a cabbie and computer expert whose father Archie runs a security agency. Following Cheetah's trail, Tarzan, Jane and Archie find themselves confronting multi-millionaire William Brightmore, a wily and dangerous adversary, whose greatest pleasure is the hunt to the death.
