Synopsis

An American film star working at a British film studio is sent to prison but his double carries on the work. An attempt on his life fails. The actor's wife arrives from America and denounces the double to the producer. They decide to carry on to save the film. A projection box fire destroys evidence that would have exposed the villain. When the star is released from prison he is shot by the villain who after a chase and a fight with the double falls from the flies.
