Child's comedy drama, based on an Irish legend. Concerns a 9-year old orphan Shamus, who captures a leprechaun and takes his pot of gold, promptly resulting in him getting cursed (he grows a tail), and experiencing many adventures before the spell is broken. To break the curse he has to find a real Irish donkey and distribute his wealth to the more needy. He does this by finding a donkey in England and winning a donkey derby.
