Synopsis
A young and beautiful model, Valerie accompanies her boyfriend Terry on a drive to the country. Terry plans to rob an old house, which they eventually find amidst the dense fog of the dark night. Reluctantly, Valerie joins Terry in a search of the house. They are interupted by the arrival of a figure draped in black and a prostitute. The hooker is suddenly brutally slashed to pieces, and in panic Valerie flees - pursued by the knife-wielding assailant.
With a narrow escape at the hands of the murderer, Valerie hitch-hikes back to London. Terry has mysteriously disappered and cannot be found. Then his car suddenly appears outside Valerie's house. What is going on? Where is Terry? Who is the mysterious Paul and his Aunt Susanna? Is the sinister neighbour Mr Hornby, the pigeon collector a person Valerie can trust?
It all leads to a shattering and shocking climax...
