Black-comedy, anti-nuclear documentary, which examines the government films of the Cold War which showed how to survive a nuclear attack, in the light of later knowledge and bigger bombs. It traces the official line from the concept of bomb shelters, to fallout shelters, to the tacit acknowledgement that no shelter would be adequate. One of a series of documentaries, founded on newsreel footage and other memorabilia.
