Sir John Chilcoate is very ill and has difficulty delivering his speech in the House. He meets his cousin John Loder, a remarkable "double" for Chilcoate and persuades him to take over his duties. Based on a play John Chilcoate MP by Temple Thurston, adapted by howard Estabrook.
