Dance-hall girl Flame falls in love with George Fowler, a gold prospector, but is put into a quandry when a young woman and her child arrives looking for her husband, George Fowler. Flame takes care of them, but message goes out to George that Flame is dead and morosely decides to drink and gamble. The proprietor of the saloon plans to rob him, but he is saved by Flame. At first Flame does not tell him about the woman and child, but her conscience gets the better of her and she does eventually. However, it turns out that the man she loves is single, and that the woman is looking for another George Fowler.
