Synopsis

Documentary which looks at the lifestyle of the Azande tribe in the Sudan and th e way in which local beliefs have been mixed with those of organised religion in the area, and the way in which urban life is influencing the break down of tribal tradition. Study of the Azande of the Sudan, practising Christians who still believe in the power of magic. Made with the assistance of anthropologist John Ryle.
