Da Silva Da Silva (1987)

Film details

Synopsis

Despite having written sixteen books, and being one of the first generation of Caribbean Writers to be published internationally, Harris is little known to the larger reading public. This documentary combines an assessment of the writing career of Guyanan-born novelist Wilson Harris, with a dramatisation of part of his novel "Da Silva's Cultivated Wilderness".
