Film details


Drama tracing the developing relationship between an elderly, white, upper-class Englishwoman, who spent many years in India before she and her husband retired to South West England, and her neighbour - a middle-aged Indian woman, living on a nearby housing estate, who longs to return to India. The white woman enlists her neighbour's help in cultivating the mock-Indian jungle garden which her husband had cultivated hoping it would be listed in a guide to beautiful gardens in Britain.
