Synopsis

First of two programmes which aim to change attitudes to schizophrenia.

The first features schizophrenia sufferers and their families. Explains the effects and the domestic difficulties it can cause. Examines the kind of support available to sufferers and their carers and questions why an increasing number of hospital patients are returned to their families without adequate medical facilities or back-up support.
