King of the Gypsies (1978)

Film details


Drama about three generations in a particularly violent gypsy family called 'Stepanowicz', set at the end of 19th century. The story begins with patriarch Zharko, self-proclaimed 'King of the Gypsies', descending on the camp of Spiro Giorgio to ask to marry his daughter Rose.
