Film details

Drama. In the summer of 1941 on Bimini Island in the Bahamas, the American artist Thomas Hudson awaits the arrival on vacation of his three sons whom he has not seen for four years, and one of whom will soon be going to fight in the war. The visit triggers off Hudson's memories of his two marriages, and he eventually attempts a reconciliation with his sons, partly through going out on a boat and trying to catch a marlin, before tragedy strikes the family.
