Synopsis
The story, based on an actual incident, of an Indian hunted for killing the father of the girl with whom he has fled the action takes place in 1909, at a time when President Taft is on a speech-making tour through Southern California. The Indian is so resourceful in eluding his pursuers that rumours reach the press of an Indian uprising and an attempt to assassinate the President.
