James Wynnegate flees England for Wyoming after admitting embezzling war widows funds. He is innocent, but lied to protect Diana, wife of his cousin, the Earl of Kerhill. In Wyoming he buys a ranch, is saved by and then marries a pregnant squaw, Nat-U-Rich. When Diana arrives and tells him that Kerhill has confessed on his deathbed, Nat-U-Rich commits suicide and Diana and James are united at last.
