Synopsis

Romantic story interwoven with a photographic study of Mont Blanc revealing the mountain in all its moods. Young meteorologist Hannes works alone high up on Mont Blanc in a remote weather station. Down in the town of Chamonix Hella listens to his nightly weather reports and feels an affinity with him. The two meet up when she goes on a trip up the mountain in a light aeroplane. Tragedies, misunderstandings and a resuce mission in a severe storm on the mountain follow.
