Synopsis
The story is of a little sea-waif who inspires love in two fisherman pals. One marries her, and the other who is jealous, attempts to kill him at sea one night. The sea-waif, Nancy, is in reality a heiress, and a fellow who would benefit if she were out of the way comes down to the little fishing village to "arrange matters". Nancy is saved from him by the man who tried to kill her husband, but in the fight the rescuer is found murdered by an unknown hand. Nancy's husband is accused, found guilty and sentenced to be hung.
