A Romance of the Redwoods (1917)

Film details


Western. Jenny Lawrence falls in love with the man who has assumed her dead uncle's identity to protect himself from the law. She tries to persuade him to reform, but he holds up a stagecoach and is captured by a vigilante. He is sentenced to hang, but Jenny persuades the town to pardon him by pretending she has borne his son. They are married and although her ruse is discovered, the citizens of the town accept defeat.
