The Outsider (1931)

Film details


Lally Sturdee walks with a limp which can't be cured, despite her father being an eminent surgeon. When Anton Ragatzy comes into her life, she believes his unorthodox methods might cure her disability but her father is adamant that he is a quack. She decides to try his cure, which involves a year of painful treatment. At the end, it appears that his treatment has failed but he has fallen in love with her and in the final shot, she walks into his arms.
