Crook melodrama: P. Cadwallader Jones, a graduate in Law, takes a position in the District Attorney's office; unfortunately he becomes unpopular and is put on to a hopeless case. However, he is thought unsuitable to handle this case and is taken off it, so with the help of a newspaper girl they solve the mystery together.
