An anthology of seven stories illustrating the seven deadly sins. 'Avarice': a down-trodden chauffeur is sent into the sewers to find a lost coin by his greedy employer; 'Envy': hen-pecked pools-winner Stanley is bullied by his wife into trying to get a middle-class couple to sell them their house; 'Gluttony': although fronting a slimming food company, Dickie is really a glutton and can't stop eating; 'Lust': lonely bachelor Ambrose can't find the courage to approach the beautiful women he sees around him; 'Pride': two car drivers find themselves face to face on a narrow country road, each refusing to give in to the other and back up; 'Sloth' a surreal vignette illustrating laziness; 'Wrath': two pensioners are driven to murder by a bullying park-keeper.
