All in Good Time (1964)

Film details

Near Banbury Cross, at almost the centre of England, stands a typically English pub, run by George and Elsie Fitch. In it a friendly group of regulars from the busy country town gather most days during opening hours. Today, though, is different - the Irish barmaid, Bridget, is expected back from her holiday in Dublin in time for the midday session. She is unpredictable and so the routine in the pub is threatened by the late return of Bridget.

Note: This is a very subtle short advert for Guinness using product placement.
