Synopsis
Sculptor David Cardew becomes jealous when his wife Laura is entranced by the performance of a young cellist named Anton. Taking his inspiration from a ballet he has just seen David threatens to cut off the hands of his supposed rival while making a cast of them, but he relents and is reconciled with Laura.
