Film details


Chick Byrd, fired from a provincial repertory company, finds digs in London with another out of work actor. Undaunted, they plan a glorious future which becomes possible for Julian after a successful screen test. Chick remains unsuccessful and involved in the bad luck of others. Finally stunned into action by the suicide of a friend, he agrees to appear in television commercials and at last finds fame. Confident of his ability for the first time he leaves London to return to rep.
