Drama. Charles Dickens settles down to write his famous novel 'A Christmas Carol', and we see the tale unfold: miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is unkind to everyone, including his clerk Bob Cratchit, but at Christmas he is visited in dreams by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and sees the harm that his mean ways might do. He wakes up a reformed man and shares his money with the needy, and with Bob's family.
