The Black Pirate (1926)

Film details


Seeking vengeance on pirates that caused his father's death, Michel assumes a fake identity as The Black Pirate. He kills the pirate captain in a duel and, in a bid to take over, demonstrates his leadership by single-handedly capturing a merchant ship. On the ship is a princess who he helps try to escape, but the other pirates catch them, and he is forced to walk the plank. He manages to swim ashore, returns, defeats the pirates and frees the princess.
