Synopsis
Musical comedy drama. A wealthy, carefree young man enlists a few friends to form a unique band: white musicians playing blues music. Determined to see it catch on, despite people's general feeling that the music is raucous and not suitable for white people, the band finds a singer and they land a job in a top nightclub. But when they are offered a better job in Chicago, the nightclub owner gets his thugs involved to persuade the band to stay.
