[John Vale] Jack Dale, a young engineer, is sent with plans of a new aeroplane to Sir William [Johnson] Drainger. He sends a telegrame to his fiancee announcing his arrival as it will be an opportunity to meet her. A couple of hired thugs are lying in wait to steal the plans from him and their instructions are found by [Mabel] Lucy Price on the path she is taking to meet [John] Jack. At the station she warns him, but [John] Jack is confident of his own powers to resist any attack; nevertheless [Mabel] Lucy Price takes the opportunity whilst he is embracing her to steal the plans from him and takes them herself direct to Sir William's car to save him. She tells him of the thugs lying in wait for John and together they rush off in Sir William's car to save him. With the help of police picked up on the way they are able to save her fiance from a severe beating and [Mabel] Lucy Price is able to assure him that the plans have been safely delivered.
