Political satire. Tucker, a former union leader turned presidential assistant, organises a deal in which a corrupt ex-labour boss is released from jail before he goes on hunger strike. Tucker receives $2 million from the union as a secret contribution to his election campaign. When word gets out the union sets out to retrieve the money.
