Every Friday, family members gather for a meal at their restaurant, presenting to the outside world the appearance of a happy, closely knit unit. This Friday they have come to celebrate a birthday, but tensions are running high and the normal forced politeness begins to crack as long unvoiced opinions are at last voiced. As battle commences around the dinner table no one is left unscathed and the delicate power balance within the family undergoes a radical shift. Un Air de famille is a deliciously light and ironic tale of an everyday dysfunctional family.
